About the role
The Border Management Authority is looking for a Manager: Logistics and Stores to oversee logistics, supply-chain activities, stock management, procurement support, compliance, budgets and team leadership.
Requirements
- Grade 12.
- NQF Level 7 qualification in Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Logistics, Public Administration, Law, Finance, Accounting, Business Management, ICT or a related field.
- At least 5 years’ junior-management experience in Supply Chain Management or a related area.
- Knowledge of the BMA Act, PFMA, Treasury requirements and SCM legislation/policies.
- Valid driver’s licence.
- Professional SCM or Finance registration is advantageous.
Main duties
- Manage logistics operations.
- Support purchasing and planning.
- Manage stock and deliveries.
- Monitor supply-chain activities.
- Improve processes.
- Manage risks and internal controls.
- Support budgets and procurement compliance.
- Lead and develop the team.
