What the role involves
Design and costing
- Costing new designs and preparing bills of materials (BOM), process data and manufacturing layouts.
- Monitoring raw material prices from suppliers and subcontractors.
- Controlling quality costs and carrying out final product inspections.

Technical
- Designing and programming PLCs and touch-screen control systems.
- Designing and testing switchboards and chassis.
- Electrical design and drafting using CAD, Revit and SketchUp.
- Updating wiring diagrams and related documentation.

Safety and electrical maintenance
- Investigating injuries and incidents and putting preventative measures in place.
- Overseeing plant electrical maintenance.
- Checking and repairing electrical hand tools, machinery, welding machines and DB boards.

What you will need
- N6 National Diploma in Electrical Engineering.
- Qualified Electrician with a Red Seal.
- 3 Phase Wireman's Licence.
- Experience with wiring, PLC programming, electrical drawings and electrical maintenance.
- Own transport required.
- A recent professional profile photo must accompany your application.
