SHR is seeking a top-tier Financial Accountant with hospitality industry expertise to take command of the financial operations at a prestigious Green Point hotel on the Atlantic Seaboard. This is a premium role for someone who knows the books inside out and can command the numbers in a fast-paced hospitality environment.

YOUR FINANCIAL COMMAND DUTIES:

📊 Financial Reporting

Management accounts, financial statements, trial balance

💳 Financial Controls

Assets, income streams, expenses, cashbooks

💼 Debtors & Creditors

Invoicing, statements, recons, supplier management

📈 Tax & Compliance

VAT, payroll, deferred tax, SARS E-Filing, B/S recons

Sectors: Accounting / Hospitality / Finance

🎯 COMMANDER REQUIREMENTS

📚 Qualifications & Experience

✅ B.Com Accounting degree - non-negotiable
✅ 2+ years financial accounting experience in:
- Hospitality (Hotel or Lodge) or
- Travel & Tourism industry
✅ Articles completed with a reputable firm
✅ Pastel experience - essential
✅ Experienced in SARS and E-Filing
✅ 4-5 years financial accounting skill level

💪 Core Competencies

✅ Management accounts & financial statement drafting
✅ Balance sheet reconciliations & bank management
✅ VAT & payroll calculation and submission
✅ Package profit reconciliation & allocation
✅ Contactable references required
